The Lakes Distillery is the largest in England, producing a single malt whisky, gin and vodka. Opened in 2014, the distillery is housed in a restored Victorian era farm near Bassenthwaite Lake, surrounded by peaks, fells and woodland – a nice backdrop for a tasting followed by a bite to eat at The Bistro, the distillery’s onsite restaurant.
