Visit both native Scottish wildlife and animals from around the world in the wildlife park.
The Highland Wildlife Park is a wonderful place to experience both native Scottish wildlife and animals from around the world. Owned by the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, visitors can see an amazing variety of animals found in present day Scotland, including the pine marten, wildcat and red deer, as well as creatures from Scotland's past, like wolves, lynx, beavers and wild horses. Among the rare species from other countries on display are Amur tigers, snow monkeys, red pandas, Bactrian camels and a polar bear named Walker.
Visitors can drive around the main reserve and then explore on foot around various animal enclosures. The park is open every day of the year, weather permitting.
