Dazzling lakeshore scenery
Loch Lomond is one of Scotland’s most beloved lochs (lakes), and is part of the Trossachs National Park in the Stirling area of the Central Highlands. It is the largest inland body of water by surface area in Great Britain and is surrounded by breathtaking beauty on all sides, including the 3,195-foot (974 m) Ben Lomond on the eastern shore. Loch Lomond is a popular recreation area, especially among enthusiasts of boating or other water sports, as well as camping and golfing. For the best view over the whole area, seaplane tours are also available here.
